How We Helped Hologram Reinvent Their Website, Email Strategy & Drive a 57% Revenue Increase
Hologram is an underground rap-focused producer collective, best known for their gritty, futuristic sound. With ties to artists like Ken Carson and Yeat, and a reputation shaped by their founder Synthetic, the collective had strong brand energy—but their backend systems weren’t built to support scale.
When they reached out to us, Hologram was dealing with a noticeable decline in sales. They had strong word-of-mouth, a dedicated fanbase, and a recognizable sound—but their website, email list, and marketing strategy didn’t reflect any of that. They needed a system that could help them convert more of their traffic into actual revenue.
Project Snapshot
This was a project that evolved from an 8-week site and email rebuild into an ongoing partnership spanning nearly two years. Our mission was to turn Hologram’s raw brand power into a functional, high-converting experience—one that worked without needing constant content creation or social hustle.
We were brought in to:
Redesign the entire website to align with Hologram’s brand and boost conversions
Implement a full email marketing infrastructure, including automated flows and weekly campaigns
Re-activate their existing email list, which had largely been unused
Build a system that could operate consistently, even with minimal social content
Goals Summary
Our key objectives for Hologram were:
🎯 Goal 1: Redesign the website to reflect their aesthetic and improve usability
🎯 Goal 2: Add audio previews, product storytelling, and proper conversion-focused layouts
🎯 Goal 3: Build and install a complete email marketing system with both automation and weekly campaigns
🎯 Goal 4: Revive a dormant email list and turn it into an active revenue driver
Execution Summary
We rebuilt Hologram’s infrastructure across web and email—designed to convert and deliver long-term value. From flows and layout to weekly emails, we engineered a backend system that reflected the Hologram brand and captured the momentum they already had.
Website Redesign

When we took over, Hologram was running a default Shopify theme that didn’t reflect their brand identity—and didn’t convert.

It lacked product storytelling, had no space for audio previews, and didn’t support their catalog in a way that made sense for producers and artists browsing beats and kits.
We rebuilt:
Homepage with brand-first design and embedded CTAs

Product Pages with audio previews, breakdowns, and product info!

Collection Pages with logical organization for vibe and usage

Site structure optimized for email capture!

Email Marketing Infrastructure

Hologram had a sizable email list—but they had barely used it. A few one-off campaigns had been sent in the past, but there was no system, no segmentation, and no real engagement.
We built out:
Full set of Flows:
Browse Abandonment
Site Abandonment
Cart Abandonment
Post-Purchase Follow-up
30-Day Customer Nurture
Unengaged Sequence
Weekly Campaigns to both re-engaged and warm users
Copy + creative matched to brand tone: direct, minimal, effective
Behavioral segmentation based on product and site activity
Weekly Campaign Rhythm & Re-Engagement Strategy

With the list cleaned and flows running, we moved into weekly campaign strategy:
Re-engaged cold segments with artist-focused stories, product features, and new drops
Created a campaign rhythm that built consistency without requiring heavy content from the Hologram team
Prioritized engagement, clicks, and long-term list health over pure sales pressure
Ongoing Growth & Infrastructure Scaling

We’ve continued working with Hologram past the initial project, scaling their backend systems as new products and opportunities arise.

Each new drop is supported by battle-tested infrastructure, without needing to reinvent the wheel.
Plug-and-play launch sequences
Built-in flows that catch and nurture traffic
Evergreen copy assets adapted to each new product
Site optimization based on evolving catalog and customer behavior
